We work together on a common idea, not as competitors. There is no room in EUPONS for devaluing others, including external parties, or exaggerated vanity.

Support is part of our professional attitude; it is voluntary, solidary, respectful, but without self-exploitation.
Psychological safety & respect
Different perspectives, criticism and learning are expressly encouraged. Mistakes are learning opportunities.
Fairness, transparency & reliability
Contributions are recognized, promises are kept, decisions are made transparently and copyrights are protected.
Compliance with scientific standards
The standards of good scientific practice are observed. Ordinary members receive free further training in this respect. Participation is generally mandatory.
Scientific impact assessment
When planning, carrying out and utilizing scientific work and texts, possible individual, social, institutional and societal consequences are considered and, where foreseeable, responsibly taken into account.
Tolerance
EUPONS united Members with very different personality profiles and professionalism. We treat them and each other with tolerance and composure and see diversity as a resource.
Responsibility & confidentiality
Collaboration in the projects is a mutual relationship of trust. All information relating to initiatives, research ideas and concepts as well as projects developed from these are subject to strict confidentiality until they are released to the public by the Executive Board.
