1. subject matter of the contract
The German Institute for Motivation (D.I.M.GmbH) offers a service membership as part of the EUPONS project. Members receive access to the services and benefits described in each case.
2. membership fee
- The annual membership fee for ordinary membership is €120 and is due in advance at the start of membership. In 2025, the membership fee for the first year of membership is € 90 if joining by 31.12.2025.
- Associate membership is free of charge.
- Changes to the contribution amount are only possible with at least 3 months’ notice before the start of a new membership year.
3. contract term and termination
- Membership runs for 12 months and is automatically extended for a further year.
- Termination is possible with a notice period of 6 weeks to the end of the calendar year.
- The right to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected.
4. services of the provider
The Provider shall provide the services specified in the service description. Changes to the scope of services are permitted, provided they do not significantly affect the overall value of the membership. The project management may reject applications for membership or unilaterally terminate membership without giving reasons. There is no entitlement to membership.
The European Forum for Positive Neuroscience (EUPONS) is a project of the German Institute for Motivation (D.I.M.GmbH). EUPONS membership is a community access to the services of the project. This is not a club membership, but a service and participation option.

Plus for ordinary membership:
- Exclusive roundtables & full access to specialist resources (e.g. publications/videos)
- Participation through voting rights in EUPONS projects
- Visibility for own CV and projects in the member area (partner profile): Members’ own projects can be presented in the member area, provided they contribute to or support the purpose of the project. Approval is granted by the project management.
- Discounted participation in conferences (from 2026)
- Use of the EUPONS logo on your own website when linking
- Confirmation as a founding member (if joining by 31.12.2025)
- In the start-up phase €90/year (regular €120/year from 2026)
- Institutional members: access for 3 persons
5. duties of the member
The member undertakes to pay the fee on time and to make proper use of the services offered.
6. liability
- The provider is liable without limitation in cases of intent, gross negligence and injury to life, limb or health.
- In the event of slight negligence, the provider shall only be liable for damages arising from the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the damage typical for the contract.
7. copyright
The content and works created by the site operators on these pages are subject to German copyright law. Duplication, processing, distribution and any form of commercialization of such material beyond the scope of the copyright law shall require the prior written consent of its respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of this site are only permitted for private, non-commercial use. Insofar as the content on this site was not created by the operator, the copyrights of third parties are respected. In particular, third-party content is identified as such. 8. data protection
The processing of personal data takes place exclusively for the fulfillment of the membership and in accordance with the applicable data protection laws. Further information can be found in the privacy policy.
9. final provisions
- German law applies.
- The place of jurisdiction is, as far as permissible, the registered office of the provider.
- Should individual provisions be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
